Rotary Christmas Lunch

At this years Christmas Lunch the guest speaker was Monsignor Peter O'Reilly. On arrival guests were entertained by Portora Royal School brass ensemble under the guidance of Ms Jeannie Munroe. President Roy welcomed the guests including the President of Enniskillen Probus Club, Past Assistant Governor Tony Rasdale and wife's and partners. Following an excellent lunch provided by the staff of The Killyhevlin Hotel the Monsignor gave his address. He outlined his career in the church and the busy schedule he has this time of year visiting the schools which gives him great pleasure. Reference was made to the excellent work being done by the club with all their fund-raising for worthy causes. "Christmas is a time for families and the meaning of Christmas is not just that the Christ child came, but he is coming again and we all have a date with destiny, the God whom we are going to meet on the final day is the God who is coming to meet us. God keeps the wheel turning and their is a call for you to do likewise at Christmas, and no doubt you will". Following the address Santa Claus arrived and distributed presents to some of the invited ladies.
